YOOP mails you six digits. There is no password to make and none to forget.
Reading and searching the board need no account. Signing in is for publishing a trip or a request, and for unlocking a contact card.
Your school address tells YOOP which school you are at, and nothing else uses it. The people you contact never see it — they see the contact card you write, and nothing more.
YOOP is an information board, not a transportation provider: it sells one thing, a way to reach the student who posted. It arranges no trip, carries nobody and vouches for nobody, and it never sets, collects or guarantees the price of one. Complaints are read by a person, and answered within three business days.
